We start by understanding the real problem — operational, regulatory, and human — before proposing anything.
About
IonVantage Partners was founded on the conviction that in an era of energy transition and disruptive new technology, real advantage goes to those who think ahead. Our practitioners pair advice grounded in operational reality with the strategic foresight to turn disruption into durable advantage.
Founder & Managing Director
Jennifer is a Professional Engineer with more than 20 years in the energy sector, having held senior leadership roles in engineering, IT, and capital projects. At Ontario Power Generation, she served as Head of Digital Strategy for advanced nuclear reactors, Design Engineering Lead for major station refurbishment projects, and Enterprise Lead for cybersecurity, among other senior roles.
She later moved into management consulting at PwC and Accenture, where she was most recently National Power Generation Leader, helping clients solve the most complex problems facing Canada’s clean energy transition. Her background spans both nuclear and the broader energy sector, pairing deep technical expertise with business leadership — a perspective increasingly valuable as the industry expands into new areas like data centres and clean energy.
She has led major capital projects for Pickering Safe Storage, Darlington Refurbishment, and the G7’s first grid-scale Small Modular Reactor build. Her work has also spanned governance and the standards that continue to shape how the industry adopts new technology, including co-authoring Canada’s first national standard for nuclear cybersecurity.
Jennifer holds a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto. She serves as Board Director of the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries and is Co-chair of the Canadian Nuclear Society’s Disruptive, Innovative, and Emerging Technologies (DIET) Conference. She currently serves as a Governor of Havergal College, an independent girls’ school, and is committed to mentorship and growing the talent pipeline for the next generation of energy professionals.

How we work
IonVantage is built to deliver clarity quickly, with senior attention on every engagement and the flexibility to scale as programs grow. Every solution is tailored and right-sized to what each client needs — informed by practical experience and industry best practices, and not standard consulting templates.
We start by understanding the real problem — operational, regulatory, and human — before proposing anything.
We challenge default thinking before recommending a path, because the fastest route to a cleaner energy future isn’t always the familiar one.
Recommendations are designed to be implemented safely on the ground, not admired on a page.
IonVantage works with utilities, generators, suppliers, technology providers, investors, and boards across the energy sector.
